The message displayed in the log for a full target disk has been improved. This enables a custom delay to enable network shares and external disks to come on-line before starting a backup. Encrypted and password protected Incremental backups could fail to append to an existing backup set. Exchange backups now show a more appropriate error when attempting to backup databases that changed location. Although as far as I'm aware, MR v8 free version hasn't been made available as a direct installation you can download a trial of the pro version and when it expires it will revert to MR v8 free.
